Chris Duncan is a burgeoning professional audio engineer based out of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Engineering Technology from Delta State University and an Operator level Pro Tools certification from Avid Technology. Armed with a love for music and an affinity for technology, Duncan has made it his goal to provide exceptional sound engineering services to the Mississippi Gulf Coast area and beyond.

Duncan’s repertoire includes engineering sound at various local festivals around the Mississippi Delta including Juke Joint Fest, Deep Blues Fest, Octoberfest, and the Mighty Roots Festival. Acts that Chris has worked with as a freelance engineer include Collin Stough, Peyton Aldridge, Keith Johnson, Blue Mother Tupelo, Super Chikan & the Fighting Cocks, the Lucious Spiller Blues Band, Sean ‘Bad’ Apple, The Tiger Beats, Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers, The Wilkins Sisters, Robert Kimbrough Sr Blues Connection, and Rachel Ammons.

Working as lead engineer in the Grammy Museum Soundstage, Duncan engineered productions for regional acts such as Boo Mitchell, the Hi Rhythm Section, Ashton Riker, Lil Rounds, Duane Betts, Rivers Rutherford, Don Bryant, Valerie June, Jimbo Mathus, Kenny Brown, Tricia Walker, Ashley Cleveland, Keith Sykes, Carl Jackson, and Fish Michie.

During his internship and employment at the Bologna Performing Arts Center, Duncan worked as a stagehand on shows for The Blue Man Group, The Guess Who, Michael Bolton, Clint Black, Peabo Bryson, and Taylor Dayne.

Through his freelance work in House of Worship audio, Duncan has provided services to First United Methodist Church in Indianola Mississippi, Saint Luke Church of God in Christ in Moorhead Mississippi, and Living Faith Cathedral in Greenwood Mississippi.

Duncan’s work in corporate audio includes running sound for dozens of conferences, retreats, meetings, wedding rehearsal dinners, etc for various corporate establishments and educational institutions such as Entergy, Baxter International, Viking Tours, American Queen, Mississippi State University, Delta State University, etc
